Hydrogen Fueling Station

EmPower is a consultant to the Town of Hempstead on its Hydrogen, HCNG and CNG fueling station.  In the early stages of the project, it helped to develop the NYSERDA PON1082 proposal.  After the Town received the NYSERDA award, it hired EmPower as a consultant to work on the following:

1. Assistant Project Manager: EmPower is assisting with coordinating and managing project participants, budgets, contractor RFPs, and scheduling.

1. Demonstration Plan: EmPower has developed and started to implement a demonstration plan that includes publicity events, ride and drives, and outreach and education programs. EmPower was responsible for leading the generation of marketing collateral including a website.

1. Data Acquisition & Analysis:   EmPower Designed a data acquisition system to measure performance of the refueling station and associated vehicles.  Based on the data, EmPower will perform an in-depth analysis of the economic and energy performance of the refueling station and associated vehicles.
